Who is CQC accountable to?

Asked by: 14 views Uncategorized

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is an independent regulator of health and social care in England. They make sure that health and social care services provide people with safe, caring, effective, responsive and well-led care, and that they are continuously improving.

The CQC is accountable to Parliament and answerable to the Health Select Committee.
